Tulip, my upstairs neighbor's goat, was kidding last night, so this morning we woke up to two new babies (and possibly at least one more on the way)! Say hello to Salt and Pepper!
Here's Salt
Tulip, Salt & Pepper
And Spicy, who came last!
More to come later or you can see a few more pics here.
The younger kiddo is six as of 4:35 (or is that 4:30 -- I can never remember) AM, EST, November 21st... What a ride the last six years have been. And to make things even crazier around here, we've added a friend:
Meet Keillor
Keillor's our 6 month old yellow lab we managed to bring home through Freecycle™ I swear we get best things from there. Weekend before last, it was my gorgeous piano and now Keillor. What's next to round out the things happen in threes??
After a year and half and more on an early to bed, early to rise program at the grandparents, Cade and I have seemed to shift to our strange night owl selves. Insomnia the last few nights totally threw me off and he has no problems joining me later and later until he crashes.
Anyhow, tonight while I was browsing, he got to decorating the mantle. With representatives of all our kitties (even the two ferals running around), plus one in case we lose any. He's quite pragmatic that way.
